Mindfulness and breath work
Throughout history many cultures and
traditions have utilized some form of mindfulness and
controlled breathing as a healing process. By helping you
focus on your breathing and listening to simple guided
instructions, we can gently explore what resources and
strengths arise to the surface. This sense of mindfulness is
critical to the development of a good therapeutic
relationship and for working at a pace that is comfortable
for you.
EMDR (Eye
Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
The more I
witness the ability of EMDR to help individuals heal
at a core level, the more I use it. EMDR has been effective in
helping many of my clients, who have a variety of the wide range of
their complaints, conditions and situations.
In addition to
using EMDR to help people recover from trauma, post
traumatic stress disorder and other conditions, I also use EMDR
to help musicians, athletes, business professionals,
contractors, and others improve their on the job performance.
EMDR is scientifically proven to be helpful for post
traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) panic attacks, grief,
disturbing memories, performance anxiety, stress reduction, and
many other conditions.
The American Psychiatric
Association (2004), Practice Guideline for the Treatment of
Patients with Acute Stress Disorder and Post-traumatic Stress
Disorder found EMDR to be an effective treatment of trauma.
The Department of Veterans Affairs and Department of Defense
(2004) placed EMDR in the "A" category as "strongly
recommended"
for the treatment of trauma.
HeartMath's EM Wave

balance emotions and increase performance. This

relief technique to help you significantly reduce your
